Say bye to take out quesadillas, and treat yourself and your loved ones with these home-made Chicken Quesadillas - juicy, flavorful and healthier!
Ingredients:
2 Tortillas
200g Chicken breast
100g Minced pork
50g Bell pepper
50g Onion
30g Guacamole
50g Shredded mozzarella cheese
5g Salt
5g Black pepper
8g Sweet pepper powder
2g Thyme
20g Olive oil
Step by Step Cooking Instructions:
Step 1: Dice the chicken breast, bell pepper and onion. Add salt, black pepper, sweet pepper powder, and thyme. Marinate and set aside.
Step 2: Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the diced ingredients prepared in Step 1. Stir fry until fully cooked.
Step 3: Brush 1 side of a tortilla with olive oil. Place the oiled side on a baking sheet. Spoon the fried ingredients, guacamole and shredded mozzarella cheese over the tortilla.Then, sprinkle with a layer of cheese.
Step 4: Take a second tortilla and brush 1 side with guacamole and the other side with olive oil. Cover the second tortilla (oiled side up) over the tortilla prepared in Step 3.
Step 5: Preheat the oven to 160℃ for 5 minutes, and then put in the tortilla. Bake to 160°C for 8~10 minutes, then take out and set on a plate.
Step 6: Serve the Mexican chicken quesadilla with tomato salsa, guacamole or sour cream - any of your favorite sauce!
