To make a stewed chicken, literally all you need to do is to pour all the ingredients into a slow cooker, and let it simmer when you are doing anything else. And it is really savory and healthy, good enough for a family meal.
Ingredients:
2kg Whole chicken
170g Spring onions
10g Garlic cloves
80g Onion, chopped
70g Carrot, chopped into chunks
50g Celery, chopped into chunks
0.2g Thyme
3g Salt
0.3g Black pepper
40g Red wine
30g Butter
500ml Water
Step by Step Cooking Instructions:
Step 1: Put spring onions in the slow cooker.
Step 2: Add a whole washed chicken.
Step 3: Add all the ingredients and seasonings into the slow cooker and put the lid on.
Step 4: Simmer over high heat for 6 hours.
Step 5: Drizzle the chicken broth over the stewed chicken, and enjoy!
